Who will exam my child?
- We have one physician and two nurses with specialized training in child abuse.
- The goal of the medical evaluation is to help ensure the health, safety and well-being of your child.
- To diagnose, document and address any medical conditions resulting from abuse.
Will my child need a medical exam?
The investigative team members will decide if your child needs a medical exam. If one is needed, the WCCAC Medical Professionals will perform the examination, with a support person present.
When the examination is over, the medical professional will be able to tell you in general terms what she learned.
